No. These are open marketplaces where you can hire offshore freelancers on a project basis. Bettersource is a recruitment and management service for hiring offshore employees. Our candidates go through comprehensive screening and background checks. 

They are on Bettersource payroll. You become the host employer during the period of your contract with us.

Our recruitment teams employ a data-driven methodology to test applicants for domain-specific skills and job fit. We also conduct background and reference checks on each candidate.

Invite candidates to interview directly with you. To submit an interview invite, simply attach your job description and choose a preferred 30 min time slot. After your invite is submitted, one of our team members will get back to you with a confirmation.

No. A team member will be present to assist you throughout the process.

You can interview up to 3 candidates for each role.

Yes. We are happy to assist.

Yes. You can hire employees for 2 days/week, 3 days/week, or full-time. Each candidate’s profile will indicate if they are available for part-time roles.

We will onboard your new colleague, complete their home-office setup, and connect them with you.

We provide a secure company laptop to each employee and ensure that they have a stable internet connection. It is also mandatory for employees to maintain a dedicated room as their office space.

It usually takes 7-10 business days. However, some candidates may require a longer notice period before they can start working. Details on how soon a candidate can start will be mentioned on their profile.

Pricing, Payment, and Terms

You pay an hourly service fee for each employee’s services. Payment is required in advance on a monthly or fortnightly basis.

The service fee varies according to the job role and the number of days per week you are hiring for.

No. The service fee is all-inclusive.

No. You don’t need to pay any setup costs.

No. You can cancel your engagement by providing a 2-week notice.

We offer a replacement guarantee at no extra cost.

No. We enter into a service agreement with you, according to which you become the host employer for professionals on our payroll.

Working with offshore colleagues

No. Employees are expected to work during Australian business hours.

Employees work 8 hours per day (excluding breaks). A tracking tool is provided to log time. Timing for a 30-60 min break can be decided mutually between you and the employee.

Employees are available on Zoom or any other meeting, phone, & messaging tool your business may be using.

The support manager acts as a point of contact for you and the employee for any work-related matters. They do not manage or supervise your employees work, but conduct regular check-ins and manage the employee and host-employer relationship. They are available to receive feedback, complaints, or discuss any other matters that may arise.

We have a no BYOD (bring your own device) policy. Employees work on devices provided by Bettersource which have inbuilt end-point security features. The use of a company VPN is also mandatory. Our IT team uses mobile device management to detect security breaches.

Confidentiality agreements and background checks are part of our mandatory procedures for onboarding staff. We do our best to secure your business and personal information. However, as employees work directly with you, it is your responsibility to safeguard your confidential information.
